For anyone who has already received Mayo's e-mail after the interview saying you have been reviewed and ranked by the committee (or anyone else who knows)...

How long did it take after receiving the e-mail for their snail mail letter to arrive?

The letter simply states whether you've been accepted or waitlisted, right?

Thanks,
Bosco

It could be weeks to months. They meet once every few weeks to decide on candidates to accept. Those they don't accept at that meeting aren't really told anything as they aren't on the true 'waitlist' but could be accepted at the next meeting when they roll up to the top of the ranklist. Sometime in the spring they will prepare the 'alternate' list. They seem to send out rejection letters to those already interviewed but at the bottom of the ranklist every few months or so.

Has anyone head anything from Mayo acceptance wise yet?

For people who have interviewed at Mayo, how long did it take before you were notified by email that your application had been reviewed and ranked?
