Hi everyone, I was referred to this site by a friend who had good luck with it last year. My stats: I have a 25 MCAT ( VR 7, PS 10, BS 8). I have extensive background in College Division 1 Football. I am African American, and have a pretty good EC including 500 hours of shadowing orthopedic physicians, 200 hours of shadowing anethesiologists, 200 hours of OBGYN, 6 months of official university research. I also work at an oncology clinic, and have been working as a medical technician for 3 years. Can you please help me add schools to this list. I know that some of the schools seem far fetched for me. Please know that your help is truly appreciated. I also want to add, that I would love to attend either DO or MD school. I know my competitiveness and know that I would be more competitive for DO, but any chance at MD?

I think you got a decent shot since your a URM. Just apply ASAP

Apply to some MDs out of the state of Flordia that arent HBCs. Maybe oakland uni, kansas uni, tulane, slu.

Thank you. I submitted yesterday. Waiting for review. Also submitted aacomas app and it's processing now. I'm praying I will get an interview somewhere
