Can you share the rest of your stats so we can get a general idea of why you haven’t heard back from so many schools?

This. Unless the OP is killing it on practice tests and reasonably believes they can get a 516 or better, it is a better bet to take the 512 they already have. 512 isn't so high that retaking - and getting any score, even a perfect one - raises perfectionism red flags. But it's still a gamble. Are you a gambler? How have you been doing on AAMC practice tests, taken under conditions approximating Test Day?

Don't worry OP lol I got a 512 also and was thinking about retaking it because IK I can do much better but I think its too risky and many people have told me not to do it.

I am really contemplating a retake... I scored a 512 (127/128/127/130) when I took it the first time. I have a lower GPA (around 3.5) but I went to Stanford, had a strong upward trajectory, and was a varsity athlete there. I am currently doing full time cancer research and hope to have a publication soon. I have good ECs and recs. I know my score is pretty decent, but I really want to go to Baylor (TX resident) or another top 20 school. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Drexel 100%. I got into seton hall and the Pbl program at Rowan DO and I withdrew from Rowan. With some uncertainty for competitive residencies with the merger, even though RowanSOM is a really good school, I wouldn’t want to chance not being able to match into something I like later on just because I had a DO
