Hi everyone,
I am a repeating Soph : 21 credits transfered to current school, 1-1/2 year of architecture credit down the drain🙁
I will be a Junior and retaking Ochem I in the fall. I have finished all of the other pre-reqs besides Ochem. I plan on Taking the Jan 11' MCAT (there is a Princeton review course during winter break). I was wondering is it possible to do well (30ish?) on the MCAT even though I have not taken OChem II or Biochem?

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Get the examkrackers package and the examkrackers verbal passages book. Most of my prereqs were quite old and I was able to break 30 using this.

would that be including the audio osmosis?
and should I look at anything else (i.e TBR or NOVA)
or should TPR course in joint with EK pkg. and AAMC be enough?

I tried the audio osmosis, but I didn't find it to be useful. I would listen to it while jogging/biking and I just felt the narrators were trying too hard to make a joke out of everything (very annoying).

I would just stick to the EK package and the AAMC practice tests. Thats what I did, and it worked out fine. Don't worry about not having taken biochemistry or o-chem 2 yet, everything you need for the test is explained in the EK books. Good luck. . .

I would say if you can get a good deal on a used copy of AO get it an listen to it. It can be annoying and the jokes can drag on, but taking practice questions I do remember some things based on these jokes. Don't pay full price though and the books are far superior to the recording, but it can be a good supplement.

You nailed it on the head gonnif!
plan A) take Jan MCAT (if it is good enough) apply in June
plan B) retake the MCAT (study the entire summer break) then apply for the following cycle, and pray to god that I get a E.R. tech job by then (this summer ideal), so I can answer an interviewer's questions as to "so, what do you plan to do on your year off?"
