Hello everyone,

I'm currently transferring from CC. I'm projected to graduate spring 2021 I won't be finishing orgo chem 2 until next summer/fall2020, unfortunately. Would it be bad to take the MCAT after I graduate university? I don't want to rush the exam, and I want to strive for perfection on my first shot. Thanks.

Thats fine but note that there is a point where you keep on studying and get diminishing returns.

Strive for a score that is consistent with success. Perfection is our enemy.
You are right to want to get it right in a single score, though.

Also on this note: if you are not performing at tippy top levels in your practice, don't be upset with yourself. Your perfection' may not actually be perfection. There may not be limits in your capabilities, but there are certainly different slopes towards that upper asymptote. Understand that you are far more likely to exhibit burnout well before you reach that asymptote.
