MCAT and applications

I am scheduled to take the exam April 26th and I am working to be 100% ready for test date. I have studied ALL of the content and now I am reviewing, taking assessments and practice MCATs. I really want to apply this cycle. If I take it on April 26th and think I can do better. Should I reschedule another exam date and just tell my schools that I am retaking the MCAT?

You would get your score back before you could send off the primary. You can decide if you want to retake when filling out the primary and select a future test date. Medical schools will then know you will retake, what day to expect the score and they will automatically be sent the score when it becomes available.
