So I took the MCAT a few times and did bascially awful, lol. So I waited a year and took the Kaplan course and my scores are improving a lot! I'm getting a 28-32 on their exams. I want to wait until August to retake it since the course will be over then. Should I still submit my primary now since I have everything completed?

My other question is that will those old MCAT scores really hurt my application. I don't want to say what I got, but believe me when I say horrible I mean horrible!

I have a 3.6GPA, have a clincial experience, and other EC's.

BTW Advice not Adivise....typo!

If you want to apply this cycle I would recommend submitting your application as early as possible, especially if you have a weak MCAT. Remember you can always update the schools of your new score. But if your score is truly awful, then maybe it would be better to wait and see how you do before spending money applying.

How many times did you take the MCAT? Scoring poorly on multiple attempts is a pretty big "red flag" and something you will need to work VERY hard to overcome.

Best of Luck
