hi all,

It has been 10 years since I graduated from my undergrad and I'm looking to take an online course to prep for the MCAT. Can anyone recommend one?

Thought I would also make a poll of the 2 prep courses I am debating between...

Thanks 🙂

I highly recommend TPR online ultimate course. I took it for the old mcat so I can't comment on how it is/going to be for the new mcat. But it was well worth the money since it fit into my schedule the best, had a TON of practice material, online support, lots of practice exams, and kept track of how well you are doing with everything in your portal.

I've heard PR has better content, but a worse website. I can agree with the dated design, but I signed up for PR and am starting the Ultimate Online course soon. We'll see. I like the books so far. I also bought the Kaplan 528 book for additional questions and access to their online exam as well.

MCAT Prep Course from Bench Prep was relatively affordable and worked for me. Depends on how much of the basic sciences you remember from undergrad. They did have fairly in depth lessons, however.

Neither. Ask around or do an internet search. There are much better online courses that are more affordable.

On a slight change of topics, there are also many free online MCAT courses which are usually stronger in some areas and weaker in others.

Search the internet for videos and websites.
