MCAT openings fluctuations??

Hi all,

I want to take the June 17th exam, but there are no openings in my state (MI) or the surrounding areas. Has anyone had success in registering for a date that was initially closed? Is there anyway to know when new seats are available without checking the site everyday? Is there any special time AMCAS updates the availabilities?

I am currently registered for july 8th as back up.

Spots usually open up closer to the test date as people drop out or reschedule. There's no way to know when this may happen. You just have to check frequently and hope a spot opens.
