I've been practicing up on my MCAT for my June 2, 2018, and I've taken two of the AAMC FL practice exams. I took the first one on May 4 and the second one today. After the first practice exam, I was absolutely terrified so I've done hundreds of questions and studied quite a lot over the past week. I plan to continue this study habit. Do you all think I am on the right track for my June 2 exam?

If you score around 508 or higher on your next aamc one then I think you're fine. It's hard to judge from just two exams though. The fact that you did a bunch of practice after the first exam probably explains the huge jump in score so I'm guessing you'll do just as well on the next one as well if not better. Try taking the next AAMC practice exam within the next few days and see how it goes.

That’s amazing progress given that it has been about 2 weeks. I think you’re on the track to a decent MCAT score, I don’t know if 6/2 is the right day for you though. You’ll need at least two more FLs to gauge your readiness. Sucks that there is only one more AAMC FL.

I took AAMC FL Practice 1 and got 503, absolutely terrified, took the real exam and void it. Then took the FL 2, got 509, still terrified, took the MCAT again and scored an 509. After a year of practice, I took the MCAT the third time and got an 515.

Just my experience with this monster exam...

Given that you progressed so quickly in a short period I would say that’s good but it might be worth thinking about pushing back the date a bit to get more practice under your belt for a better score. Depends on your goals.

Unfortunately I can't move the test day back because I'm doing honors thesis research and just feel like I won't have the same amount of time that I do now. With that being said, I am thrilled at my last FL score. I've devoted my life to studying this past month and just a few days ago it finally started to click and I was noticing subtleties. Thanks for all of your advice!

Nice! Your improvements are shockingly wonderful. Your average is 508. If you feel comfortable, go for it. Any CARS tips? What practice problems have you been doing? Lol

Thanks! Definitely some tested my strengths and other my weaknesses, but I think I can realistically get a 513-515 if I hype myself up lol. I did all the Q Packs and reviewed other FLs and some TPRs but they weren't as helpful for CARS. My problem when I first started doing CARS was that I was constantly bored and lost focus and would guess 50/50s wrong. I learned how to engage myself better and go back to the passage for those "50/50s" and that's helped a lot!
