Hello!

I am currently taking the BP 515+ Live Online Class (which I regret enrolling but I am in too deep now). I scored a 498 (125/122/125/126) on BP FL2 and am scheduled to take the MCAT 4/25. I have not taken an AAMC FL yet and have completed very little from the AAMC Qpacks. Should I push back my test date to May?

I am also wondering if I should purchase the Uglobe qbank or stick with the BP qbank.

tia!

When did you begin studying? You still have more than 2 months until your test date. Work with the system you paid for and be sure to do some official AAMC tests

I am not familiar with the Blueprint course, but I imagine they want you to use their materials, which puts you in an interesting situation. You may want to reach out to Blueprint and ask if they have any data on what a 498 on Blueprint equates to for the real test. Progression-wise, do the people running the course think it's likely that you will hit your goal score? Since you are paying for the course, I feel like they should be able to tell you that at least.

On to the next point, the AAMC materials are made by the people who make the exam, so I would want to have gone through a majority of their stuff before testing. I would not even think about adding Uglobe right now unless your testing timeline changes significantly. Do you think you can finish the AAMC materials and the Blueprint stuff in two months? AAMC is about 6 practice test and 1,500 independent questions in QBanks.

One last point, how is your grasp of the content? Are you missing questions because of reasoning errors or because you just don't know specific content? If it's content, then it's probably not a great idea to be pounding practice exams when you could be doing Anki and strengthening your content. Many people study the content of the MCAT for 3-6 months before hitting the practice materials really hard.

Let me know if you have any questions!
