just spit that shat out. The mcat testing centering isn't only for you. there will be other who may be bothered by it. What? they can use the headphones? That's their choice but you shouldn't be giving them a reason to use it.

This should even be a question. Use your damn head.

Edit: I figured you couldn't by the rule book - but it seems many people have first hand experience saying you can.

There was a girl in my testing center who chewed gum during the test; it was fine. Between all the ambient computer noises/clicking/typing/writing/normal human noises, I didn't notice at all. Be advised though that you can't bring in a gum WRAPPER or anything to spit the gum into when you're done. You have to swallow it or wait for a break to get rid of it.

I chewed gum when I was taking it. They made me bring in a sheet of tissue to spit it out on that if I wanted to, not on the original wrapper.

I am pretty sure the girl in my test center was also allowed a tissue, but there's some rule about only getting one tissue at at time (i.e. you need to throw out the old one in front of the proctor before you can get a new one - LOL) sooo just be aware of that, if you think you'll actually need a tissue for something other than gum during the test.

You can chew gum. But it will lose it's flavor well before you get your break and you're not going to be allowed to have more.
