I have a question re: MCAT. I will have OChem 2 and Biochem winter semester of my senior year. I would be taking the MCAT in April for admission the following fall. I know that it is better to have your stuff in early,I will be 43 upon application and plan to have it in as early as possible. I am thinking that I will get the results back mid june and then I can release my stuff . So, basically i will be 3/4 through OCHEM 2 and Biochemistry when I take the MCAT. Would it be better to take biochem the semester before and be 3/4 the way through Physics 2? With getting my MCAT's back in June, would still be considered very early in the process. I see applying early and broadly the key to my acceptance. Thanks for your thoughts.

I took the MCAT without having taken physics. Trust me, you need the physics! I think you should stay on your plan!

ok, ty. I will get my results back in mid June, therfore getting my application out in mid/late june. This is still early, correct? I am just asking because I am wondering do most people take the MCAT as a junior and therefore have their scores already. The way I see it is they will have a 2 week advantage on me at most. OH GOD!! I'm rambling!! That's the result of 60+ hour work weeks and 14 credits. SO...my basic question is... Taking the April MCAT my senior year will still avail me the chance to be early in the process?
