MCAT registration and interviews

Hey all, MCAT registration opens today for late January. Should I wait to register again until after my interviews? I have one at DMU this week, or should I go ahead and sign up so it's not filled up by the time I want to take my exam? My original score was an 18, I am getting interviews however, even though my first interview went really well, my account was put on hold because of my score.

Also, when would I need to realistically start studying for a January MCAT? I graduate December 19th and will be very busy with finals/graduation the second week of December. I think I should probably shoot for a 24 to feel comfortable...

I am in the same boat.

I got a 21 and sent in my application last week. Personally I have been thinking that it may be smartest (money wise) to get interviews and if I am accepted, Yay! If they don't like my MCAT score then I will take it again.

Hi both of you, I'm happy I did a quick run through before I started a new thread!

My score was a 19, just submitted on Monday.

To the OP, even though I am a month behind you, I hope I get interviews! You give me some hope.

To ^, I'm thinking the same! I hope I am still in the game RIGHT NOW even with my current score. I'd rather be on hold by December from multiple schools due to a poor score than to fight for a seat in February.

2nd day of shadowing down, 13 hours in, loved every minute of it...even the lunch provided by the sales rep for that bone stimulator...😉
