The great news for you is that, at least for January and March, there is zero penalty to cancel. So, yes, definitely pick the date you think you can make (it doesn't have to be January -- March will work equally well for the next cycle) and try your best. If you can't make it, no harm, no foul, and as long as you cancel in time, it won't count against you in any way.
I don't know what you are starting from in terms of knowledge (you can't go by me, because I got jerked around by COVID and ended up having way more time than I needed, which I mitigated by starting and stopping prep several times), but two months is tight, and I am not a fan of skipping classes for this. Why not stretch it to March, and take 4 months without skipping class, with 1-2 months for content followed by Q-Banks and FLs?
