Hi. Has anyone tried rescoring their science sections and ended up receiving a different score. I took MCAT in Sep and found the BS section score lower than I have expected. I thought I totally aced the BS section but the result was quite disappointing. I have always scored around 13 for practice tests but this time I only received a 10. 🙁

Since the change to the CBT format, I have never seen anyone post about a score change on here. Someone emailed the AAMC and the poster stated that the AAMC said the same thing. I wouldn't bother with a rescore.

Exactly unless the rescore would concern the writing section.

Not true SN2ed, I have a friend who went up from a 35 to a 37 due to the rescore. His vr went up 2 points from a 9 to an 11. So there is hope for people who want to submit a rescore, if you feel the need for it of course.

Since I revived the thread, now the question is has anyone else had their score change?

This was on a computer, not paper, test? I don't see how this could even happen.

Not everything is about money dude, keep up that mentality and you'll stay in line to become the crappiest physician out there. It's only 55 bucks and worth the shot.

The fact that his score changed is pretty damn big if you ask me. I thought for sure since it's computerized that would never happen. I wonder how many people have gotten the wrong score. Is there a time limit for getting the re scoring done?

why did your friend want to rescore 35? If you ask for rescore, there is a chance that regraded test could be lower right?

I am not sure how CBT scores are processed but I don't think its impossible for scores to get screwed up.
