How long does it usually take AACOMAS to verify our MCAT scores? I submitted my primary late May and on AZCOM's secondary portal, my MCAT score is still unofficial.

Did you send them from AMCAS to AACOMAS? Just making sure.

I just input my scores and AAMC ID in the primary.

You can't do that, you have to go to AMCAS and have them release the scores.

Well shoot. I didn't know that. Could this be why I've only gotten 3 DO secondaries so far? Did I miss my window of opportunity because of this blunder lol?

No, its still way early. Think of this way, you basically self reported your scores. They aren't official, it doesn't take any time at all for the scores to get to AACOMAS

No, it definitely makes sense. I was actually wondering how they would get the score, but I guess I know now. Thank you!

Took them 3 days for Amcsas to send my score to aaomcas. Made the same mistake. Thank god rocky vista emailed me saying all that was missing was my mcat.

Surprisingly, I still got a lot of secondaries with only self reported score.

Yeah. Amcas is just the app portal so it’s used interchangeably.

This was not one of the complex things. When I did my AACOMAS app it was very clear they needed your scores from AAMC

I pretty much read the entire handbook for both AACOMAS to ensure everything was done correctly.

No, you will be fine. Only takes 2-3 business days to get MCAT score sent to AACOMAS electronically. MCAT scores are automatically sent to MD schools but need to be manually sent to DO schools.

I have a question too since I submitted my application to one school BUT I didn't tell AMCAS transfer my MCAT score to AACOMAS. I am about to re-take around August. Should I wait until my new score come before I report it?
