Hi everyone,

MCAT is coming up and I wanted to get everyone's opinion. I originally have it scheduled for May 21, but now I want to push it to June 19 so that I can have some more time to prepare since my MCAT will be helping my poor GPA. The score release will be in July. Is that cutting it too close for opening day for applications in August. I want to give myself the best chance I've got by applying as early as possible.

Thanks everyone

Don't listen to BioPod, he/she can't read.

It wont matter which of those two dates you pick. You could take the MCAT in July if you wanted. Even if you submit everything the first day the app opens, it'll take a couple weeks for AACPMAS to verify your GPA. So as long as your MCAT is scored by mid August you'll be one of the first applicants. GL

thanks dtrack22. I think that I will give myself the extra time for studying. Wish everyone all the luck with this application cycle!
