So I'm currently deciding between applying to DO school (if I do I'll be going the sports medicine route) and Physical therapy school. I'm also studying for my MCATs at the moment because I want to keep my options open in case my final decision is to go to DO school.

That being said, are there PT schools that accept MCAT scores instead of GRE scores? If so do you know if there is a list of those that do?

Or if I decide on PT will I have to take the GRE?

thanks!

They only take GRE scores, unfortunately. Only very few schools say they don't need your GRE scores sent.

But call them! You never know. Some of the skills you learned in the MCAT may come in handy for the GRE. Best of luck to you!

I was formerly pre med(DO) and even took the MCAT before deciding to pursue PT. PT schools only take GRE, but what I learned from studying MCAT verbal helped me score above 64% verbal on the GRE
