I am planning on taking the MCAT sometime next semester, but I am unsure of how to study for it. I am planning to start studying this Winter break (Dec 20-Jan12) but I wanted to know if I should take a review course since it's been a while since I took bio and chem. I'm also in Physics right now, and I plan on taking that with behavioral neuro and Biochem (if I get into it...by God's grace since some TX school req/ it) and a supervised reading (not in class)-this is in the same lab I work in, with same PI, and I'd be doing some Research (same lab). and volunteer 4.5 hr/week (2 different volunteering positions) Should I take it Mar 23 or Apr 5 if I focus for that time (maybe 3 day break total)? I have the 5 set Kaplan books and 1001 EK book...thanks.

It sounds like you have quite a bit on your plate already. The MCAT is a pretty nasty beast that takes a lot of time and devotion to get a good score (for most people anyways). Maybe you can take a course over the summer and also take the MCAT then?

As for studying, I would suggest looking at the MCAT forums. There is a lot of helpful study plans that lays it all out for you.
