Is it normal to look at passages/questions for the first time in TPR and feel abstuwt overwhelmed? I feel like I never even went through my pre reqs (especially with physics/gen Chem questions).

Practice.

You'll get used to them.

In a way, it's kind of like reading the literature. If you're a biochemist, you probably have a solid foundation in biochemistry. But that doesn't mean you're going to read the Journal of Biochemistry and understand every word of every article. You'll know how proteins work, but you may not have heard of this protein doing this weird thing. Hopefully, with practice, it won't look as foreign and you'll see how it connects to your base knowledge, but a significant amount of it can still sound foreign.
