I am just beginning my MCAT studying over Christmas break. I am a fifth year senior who has taken all the prerequisite courses needed for the MCAT so I feel like I have a good background of knowledge. I studied about a month during summer but had to quit due to work/lack of time; I am now free and can devote 8+ hrs a day to this. What is the best way to do content review? I am the kind of person that looooves to memorize and I know memorization isn't the way to take this exam, but that is always how I have learned. Also, almost all the practice exams/diagnostics I have taken you need to have quite a bit of knowledge of topics as well as critical thinking to apply that knowledge. Anyways, content review is taking too long. Should I read the chapters in my Kaplan/TBR books first and as I go take notes, use ANKI to memorize those topics and move on? I notice myself spending 3-4 hours on a single 30 page chapter learning every concept/refreshing. Just looking for advice on the best way to do content review.
