Hey guys,

So I'm studying from the Kaplan MCAT book set and there were questions where they asked a lotttt of specific questions, expecting you to know things like
isthmic, cornual, ampullary sites as well as PIDs, syphillis, HPV, Chlamydia, Herpes and various other topics like angiotensins.

I was wondering if the actual MCATs would be this specific? Thanks.

What are they asking? Are they questions based off of a passage? If so, the info you need is usually in the passage.

Yes, you probably should be familiar with basic uterine anatomy. Angiotensin stuff is definitely taught in undergrad physiology and I'd imagine that's fair game too. For the diseases, it depends on what they're asking. Diagnosis/treatment is far out of the scope of the MCAT, but if they're asking from a microbiology standpoint, that might be fair game.

Here's a list of topics for the BS section: https://www.aamc.org/students/download/85566/data/bstopics.pdf
