So I recently had to take a Major Field Test in biology as a requirement to graduate with my BS; has anyone else had to take it? The reason I ask is because the passages were incredibly difficult in comparison to the passages I've seen in my MCAT Princeton Review book, and I was wondering if I should expect the passages on the actual MCAT to be just as difficult.

I took the major field test a few weeks ago also. I have to say that I found the MCAT much easier. The mft was very heavy on ecology and evolution, which at my school wasn't something that most pre-med students concentrate in. The Princeton Review questions were very close to the MCAT compared to the mft.

Thanks, thats reassuring to know.

Yeah, I hear PR passages are one of the best to practice on.
Can't wait to study for the MCAT! #nolifeproblems
