Some people study the week before and get a 35. Other people study hardcore for 2 months before the test, 5 hours a day, and only pull off a 29. Unfortunately, I fell into the latter group.

At every college there is a rumor of the premed who took the MCAT after two days of review half baked and got up at 7 am after his frat party the night before--still recovering from heavy narcotic use. He then Received a 45T on the MCAT, and was awarded and additional 3 extra credit points (for a total of 48) because he finished the exam before the 45 minute warning was called during the PS section, and used the rest of his time to solve Fermat's last theroem. Upon leaving the test sight, he turned water to wine, established a national healthcare system and brought goodwill and peace to men.

Sound familiar? Study more than a week for this exam. Most literature shows that people who did "well" put in 250 - 350 hours of studying.

Good luck!

Coops

PM me if you want more info on this premed. Everyone should hear more of Him. 😉

This is so true. Premeds are so full of themselves. I seriously doubt that people of such intellectual force would wonder into a mundane field like medicine.

Took Princeton Review course, which runs about 3.5 months.

Somebody should start an MCAT forum!!!!!
