just out of curiosity, at what portion of the MCAT did fatigue become a factor? (i didnt take mines yet, but im afraid that i'll be too tired to concentrate towards the end)
I didn't get tired until the last section (bio) for the april 2003 mcat. I thought the physical and verbal were easy but then bio was hard. In all of my full length practice tests bio was the easiest, but this turned out not to be the case. Anyone else agree with this that took it?
i think during the practice tests, the bio got me sleepy, but as i did more, i got used to it and other than a few freak outs on the day of the MCAT, i didn't feel too much fatigue. i did a practice test everday the week before the real thing too, so that may help you.
I got a little tired after lunch, during the writing sample. Part of this might just be because my guard was down since this was, in my mind (and generally in reality), the "least important" part of the MCAT. I then caught a second wind and was fine for the bio. Once I got home though I basically collapsed.
I generally agree with everyone....verbal and physical were not too bad.....but after lunch, writing took me out of my game, but then i caught my second wind during the bio section
