MCAT's under 25 and interviews

Atlas,

I *definitely* will get in somewhere. It isn't because I'm very smart, although I am. It isn't because I have friends who can pull strings. It isn't because of family connections It's because I'm extremely persistent, and persistence is the key to accomplishing anything. Some people do 4 years of undergrad and go right into medical school. God Bless 'em. For some people it takes longer. For some people it takes more work. For some people it takes applying year after year. Those people though, do get in with enough effort.

•Wishuponastar,

One thing is for certain...you will be one of the MOST academically prepared student in your entering class! Hell, you've taken practically all of the basic science courses already! I know you'll get in somewhere. And, when you get there, the schooling will be a snap!

Peace

I had a 24 MCAT and 3.1 overall with a 2.9 science and I got interviews at NYCOM and ALbert Einstein

AntGod,
There are no rigid rules, and I certainly think you'll be okay. I have a 3.37 overall GPA, 24S MCAT, and I am not an URM. I've interviewed at LECOM, PCOM, UMDNJ, NYCOM, TUCOM, NECOM, and have already gotten accepted at NYCOM. Work hard to do well on your MCAT, and you'll be okay.

Bronte,

You interviewed at Einstein?! Forgive me, but I am astonished! How did you get an interview there with your stats? I mean this with all respect. I'd really like to know...what's your secret?! Ok...maybe there is no secret, but please, elaborate for us on your Einstein interview.

Thanks
