Is it true that a MCAT score of 30 or above is required in order to apply to McGill Univ? Do they not consider applicants with a score below that at all?
 
hey...yeah, it's a cutoff, but i hear that it's not super strict if you have everything else in really good shape. PM me if you're applying there (I am)
 
I'm a third year here, and from talking to classmates, the cutoffs can't be that strict. The people I know of missed the MCAT cutoff, but I'm not sure about GPA.

I also highly doubt the cut-off.

They might have two sets of cuts-offs/standards anyway: one for American/international while another for out-of-province Canadians.

If you are thinking about venturing into Canada a little, you might want to consider MacMaster and MUN as well.
