ALOHA,
does anyone here know what happens to MCPHS phone line?
I tried to call them almost everyday, but all i could only get in touch with the answering machine. Wsup with them? 😕

Last time (Jan 14), i called them they told me that my file was in the review committee, and since then, i couldn't get in touch with them at all. I am just wondering when will the school notify the admission status for student like me applying to their 6 years program.

my Units status: GPA: 3.0, Completed 45 units (all chemistry, and math,) not physics and statistic, and expecting to finish these classes at their school -
- 6 years program. 😎

what do you all think about my chances. 😕 I just think it's best for me to go to this school because i could enter into their profesional program after finishing up all of the req. and just want to get out of this island and experience different environment. Hawaii is so boring 🙄 ...please help me out on this one

any ideas please help me clear this confusion. 😍

Mahalo,

BUMP...BUMP...BUMP....

ARM 5/1 😍 😍 👍

Mahalo,

MCPHS actually sent me a false rejection letter at first then I called the school an found out about the mistake and that I'd actually gotten into the program. During that time it was really difficult to get through because people kept calling to find out their true admission status.

When do you guys learn....this school is filled with mistakes.

document everything to be on the safe side.

Today, I finally could get in touch with the admission counselor. However, I didn't receive much help at all, But still hoping I could have chance to get accept to this school. This school is my only hope. So hopefully, my wishes can come true in the next couple weeks as the school stated.

I wish this year is going to be my first year to see the real snow. (Not Disneyland Snow) 😎 . I hope Boston area will statisfy my needs: see snow, surfing, and sliding/falling = droping my booty in the ice 😉 . Hawaii is nice, but to much water w/ temp @ 80 year round.

So how is the weather in Boston, anyone wanna share that expericencies with this Island boy or peoples never see snow before in his/her life? 😛

I am just wondering how is life as a prepharmacy student at Boston campus. is it any different than any 4-year university? and any differencies at Year 3 (Professional Year?)

any comments would greatly appreciated, 😎

Mahalo 😍

LMAO are you kidding? I've lived in Massachusetts 25 of my 31 years. I've also been to Hawaii. I like Massachusetts, don't get me wrong, but I would seriously consider giving up a limb to live in Hawaii. You are ccrrraaazyy!
One of the things I'm looking forward to after Pharm school is having the opportunity to move somewhere I don't have to scrape ice off of my windshield 2 months a year. And you want to leave Hawaii to come here?
LMAO. 🙂 Good luck, though...I guess to each, their own!

I lived in Kahala, Hawaii for 4 years. Hawaii helped me builded my wealth. I still love it here. I got everything here. However, I am an active guy. I played all water sports. I got everthing I ever wanted, (Financially and materialisly). what would you do if you have everything, except an "8x11" degree paper, hanging on the wall?
People turns into drugs, gambling, etc after he/she statisfied with the decent income. I just wanted to get a degree. I think PharmD. would be a degree that would make me proud and show it to my kid that I can do it and offcourse they gotta do it better, because they won't have to work like it did to start up something.

That's why i want to experience the different environment, learn new things, may be one day i could use that experiencies here in Hawaii.

Well, just for that statistical wages here in Hawaii: Clinical pharmacist only makes around $41-45 /Hr. Retail only $43-50/hr that's the max. way lower than CA. Cuz my spouse is a pharmacist graduated from UCSF.

Hawaii is only good for vacation, but it's not good for any health care professionals, because health care system here SUCKS!!!!

Indeed, Real Estate and Mortgage loan here make more money than any other place in the nation. I make a lot more then doctor here in Hawaii.
Yes, but I still want to go to school to get the PHARMD.

Isn't that crazy!!!?? 😍 :meanie: 👍
