I was wondering if anybody knows if it would be worth the time and money to apply to MCPHS-Worcester if I took my pre-requisites at a community college. I do have my Bachelors, which I attained from a 4-year university. I was reading their FAQ's and they mentioned that it was up to their discretion if they accepted them or not. I just wondered if anybody knew anything in reference to this. It does say they "prefer" them to of been taken at a four year university. Thanks! 🙂

I too have a degree from a 4-year university, but several years after graduation, when deciding to attend pharmacy school, discovered I did not have several of the pre-reqs. I took these remaining seven courses at a community college, and was accepted to 4 of the 6 schools I applied to. I now attend MCPHS-Worcester.

Thanks for responding. I was beginning to think nobody would. How do you like the program? I am sure you are very busy! They really emphasize the fact that they prefer a 4-year university over community college so I was hesitant on applying but started the process anyway. I am waiting for my recommendation letters and I haven't sent in my app yet. Since you told me this I will be sending it in ASAP! Thank you!
