Does anyone know what the final outcome was from the VCU match last year? They did not fill a single one of their three spots. Did people scramble into these or are they simply taking more this year?
 
I'm interviewing this Friday at VCU, which is not an official interview day. Somehow they arranged this because I am couples matching. The downside is that I don't think I'll meet most of the faculty since I am only with Dr. Chang the residency director at the Stony Point facility. It's nice that they accommodated me, but at the same time I am thinking this hurts my chances since I won't be exposed to the residents and faculty at the main facility other than for maybe an hour. Has anyone else heard of interviews on unofficial interview days?
 
You could also think of it the other way - so few people get interviews, and for them to make an accomodation may indicate that they are very interested.
