Well, today is the day they said they'd have their list compiled. Did anyone give them a call yet to see what number they were?

I read in one thread that you're #4. That's great, pretty much an acceptance. MCW is a great school. I really like it. Maybe I'll see you there in the fall but hopefully we'll both end up at a UC.

i'm hoping against all odds for Drew/UCLA. it's 99.9% likely that i'll be at MCW.

i don't know how "official" your claim of being an SDN babe is...i don't recall being asked. 😉

For those on the wait list at MCW that are somewhere near the middle to the bottom...dont' worry too much...

I was on the wait list last year near the middle....so I made alternate plans, but then in august, they called me and offered me a position in the 2003-3004 year (So they deferred me for a year)

So keep those chins up for those on the list!

Hey Kramer2k or anyone who knows how many get off the waitlist usually.........what number were you on the waitlist? I am kinda in the middle but the lady on the phone wouldnt tell me how many usually get off from year to year so I dont know if i really have a shot or not.

I don't know how far Hershey is from Pitt either, I think its like 3.5 hours away. I like MCW cuz its close to where my gf's parents live and I think if she eventually ends up moving with me, it'll make it easier on her. oooooooo, and i get to cut open living dogs, you can't beat that. 😀 Actually, i really liked pretty much everything about the school, the town was little cold, but there were lots of bars and some friendly people. Besides, PA couldn't have 2 new socialists, the state would implode upon itself.
During my interview, somebody told me that they take around 50 people off the waitlist, but I'm not sure if they were just guessing, because I heard someone else say they take 1/3 to a half. So far I haven't heard from them so I don't know if theres any movement so far. I'm gonna be out of town for awhile, so I may not hear for a week (my sister's getting married!!). Good luck everyone thats on the list.

Hey Jet, I think that about 25-30 spots from the waitlist are offered acceptances (not too sure though)

And I don't remember where I was on the waitlist last year, since It really didn't matter once they offered me the position...

I'd be happy to answer any other questions if you have any...
