Did anyone interview at MCW lately? How was it? I have an interview there in a couple of weeks and I want to have some idea of how it is going to be. I would like to go there and I want to prepare for the interview.
Thanks.

I'm bumping this.

Please, I cannot believe that nobody interviewed there yet. If you do not want to post anything here, maybe you could update the interview site.

thank you very much.

I interviewed at MCW on 9/19 during the early decision interviews.
First things first, RELAX!!!
I found my interview to be VERY relaxed, in fact my interviews were both like having a chat with someone I just met. Not very much like a traditional "question and answer" interview.
I posted my comments on the SDN interview feedback page.
The most stress I had was caused by me just being a neurotic idiot, not by anything the school or interviewers did.
That said, when I went, there were only nine of us. I overheard the director of admissions saying that the next few interview sessions were full, with 65 people in them.
Anyway, I left the interview feeling very positive.
You will get your letter within two weeks. Mine came the following Saturday. I know this not just from my own experience, but from talking with many students of the school.
If you have any more questions, PM me or email me (address posted on my blog, linked below). I'd be happy to help.
Good luck in your interview!!!

is your file incomplete if you havent submitted a photo online yet??

i hope this is not the case.....

I'm not sure, but I'd call the admissions office and find out if I were you.

For those of you who interviewed there and participated in the host program, do you have any advice to share about the host program?

Also, does anyone remember how much the shuttle or taxi fare was back to the airport?

thanks

Hi Fritz,

The MCW interview was very relaxed and laid back!!! I know it's easier said than done, but really, dont stress out about it. I interviewed there on 10/17. You will have two interviews, one with a faculty member (thats what I had) and one with an upper year student. Both interviews were very conversational. On my day, there were about 65 candidates, but it was still lots of fun. The building is really nice too, very modern.

If you want to know any more, just PM me. Just relax and be yourself...!!!

Good luck!

I interviewed there on Oct 3. I liked my faculty interviewer because he was cool but I didn't really like my student interviewer because she was uptight.

I ended up not going to the social because I had class the day before. I ended up getting waitlisted so I would recommend going to the social just in case. My student interviewer did ask if I went and I told her I didn't so who knows.
