Interview dates at MCW start 9/15 and are conducted once every two weeks after that all the way into April.

I didn't find out until February that I had an interview in April 05. I didn't apply until the end of October though.

edit... I need to learn to check my 4's and 5's while typing with a stupid splint on my hand.

hopefully this will be our week. if they wait too much longer it will interfere with travel plans for people who are coming in from out of the area, so i would think at least the edp people would hear something before september.

i've heard your better off at mcw if you have your app in early...i think that a big percentage of their class comes from their early interviews.

Sorry to disappoint you, but that rumor's not true. Everytime there's a spot open, the go through their new "quartiles" or whatever they do to rank people, and reevaluate people. This is after everyone has already been interviewed and put on a waitlist. They don't have the official ranking until after the May deadline of when people need to decide which school they're going to attend and stuff.

I know people who applied two months later than I and got off the waitlist a month before I did.

However, they do like people to apply early.

i used the day my recommendations were in as the day i was complete. it was one of the easiest secondaries, i thought...except for the beast of a residency form
