No, I didn't go drinking because I have a doctors appointment at 8 in the freakin' am tomorrow. I hate doctors. I do believe I also said I wasn't going on the bar crawl.

Both, I think.

I'm not sure if they're faking it, or if they were that hammered. I have to be really drunk before I can't type.

I'm going to commit hari kiri if we have many more days like this. Almost 8 hours of lecture, anatomy lab (now I see why they call it GROSS anatomy - we bisected the heads), and I'm way behind this ocean of material. I dunno how you guys did so well last year. 🙁


and it's almost time to make the Class of 2011 thread.

It was both ... houses and bars.

Just wait until block 4 when you bisect pelvises. :scared: Loved the legs and feet... pelvis not so much.

That's one unit we mostly used prosection for. I guess they figured, rightly, that we were nowhere near good enough at dissecting to preserve the important structures. Pelvis was my worst unit, results-wise, followed closely by deep head & neck. Do you guys use prosections for anything? Besides pelvis, we also looked at some for good clean hand and foot dissections, also head bisections.

We had prosections to look at of the pelvis, but we weren't tested on those. We were tested on our own dissections. So out of 50 bodies, there had to have been some good structures around the area.

During the thorax and abdomen, the instructures had a body they dissected for us to see. It showed the nerves particularly well.

When I saw you after your session I felt bad that I kept staring at your blown pupil. I felt like I was treating you like some kind of cyclopic carnival freak or something. Hope you didn't run home crying or anything... 🙁

By the way, thanks for the assist today. Although the instructor never asked me to take out your gear, I felt like a pimp just carrying it around. I just needed a furry purple hat to complete the picture.

No probalo. I only ran home crying after I ran to the post office and felt like a freak there too, the guy helping me kept staring at my eye too, but he didn't know why it was all funky. Then when I was at Sam's Club later with Jackson and the WMS M1 liasons, and it was still dilated as I was returning a dvd, I felt weird too. We were like "Dude, M2 year's great, we get great drugs..."

My eye's still dilated, though not as drastically. I didn't even have to use my scope. And you know what'd be an awesome picture, a furry purple hat, opthalmoscope, and 1 dilated eye.
