MCW interview scheduling question

I just received an invitation to interview for the waitlist at MCW. The two dates available are March 30th and April 13th. Is there an advantage to interviewing at any earlier date there? Does anyone know how they go about taking people off the wait list? Thanks!

From what I understand, selecting either date is fine. Apparently, the alternate list is ranked at the end of the interview cycle and, unlike the interview, does not take into consideration your completion/interview date. Hope this helps.

Its funny I just checked my email to see that got this interview. It would have been nice to go and see the school but i know where i am headed next year.
I am withdrawing the invite as type.

Correct. Just confirming this. When interviewed, it was on 1 April. This whole process is why no one is able to find out where they are on the waitlist until after the 15 May deadline or whatever.

I was accepted to MCW in December. I'm going to withdraw my file in a few weeks since I've been accepted to my state school. Hope it helps...

Accepted off the waitlist for a class of 200:
Class of 2006 -- 200 (dead serious, I asked the director of admissions)
Class of 2007 -- 48
Class of 2008 -- 92
Class of 2009 -- 15 (I think)
Class of 2010 -- about the same as 2009 from what I've heard.

I'm c/o 09, I got off the waitlist. There have been a lot of applicants, but it just depends on who wants to go where. MCW's a worthwhile place to still interview for the waitlist.

I'm leading a tour on 13 April.

Yeah, I called in and they said that a) it doesn't matter which day you interview, as they rank the waitlist after the April 13th date anyway, and b) gave me numbers just like Ashers. Be seeing you guys on the 13th! 😉

Yep, got same invite today, not sure if I should go or not, if they'll be making decisions after may 15th i will have already picked one of the two acceptances I got so far at SLU or Rosalind or any other ones i might get prior to that, Milwaukee isn't that far though, maybe I should go for a ride

I also have been accepted to SLU, but I'm probably going to withdraw--go to MCW! You'll end up loving it! 🙂
