MD Anderson SURP versus CPRIT-CURE

Hi! I do not really understand the difference between these two programs, and I kind of need to in order to write more unique personal statements!

So, the bottom line is that the only way to know for sure is to ask someone who is affiliated with the programs. However, based on what I can tell it seems like CPRIT-CURE is almost entirely lab based, whereas SURP can be more clinically/translational based and explicitly incorporates clinical observation. So my impression is that CPRIT-CURE has a heavier bent towards doing "hardcore" basic science research and publishing, whereas SURP is a little bit more about the experience itself.
