I have had MDPhD interviews at 5 places now, and I have 3 more scheduled. But I got an MD only interview invite from Pritzker. No MSTP acceptances in hand yet, what is everyone else doing? Take the interview? Refuse?

If you're stuck on both degrees, then from what I and my friends have gone through, going MD -> PhD is easier than PhD -> MD. Though, you might want to make sure this holds true at Pritzker. I would go to the MD, and if you get accepted, great: you have options. Right now you don't have anything in hand yet.

Personally I would decline Pritzker MD only. But this would be different depending on your goals, and if you strongly want to pursue a PhD as well, because Pritzker does give out full-tuition (maybe full ride as well?) scholarships for MD-only that you may wish to compete for.

My philosophy is that until you get that first acceptance, you go on every interview you're offered. You never know who's going to be the one to let you get your foot in the door. And as horrible and unlikely as it sounds, I had a friend last year who went on nine interviews and got nine waitlists, then finally got accepted by the tenth school.
