Basically the question is which EM programs would you say are just a bad idea to apply to? Eg.. Eating at White Castle sober is a bad idea.

Eh, once people are done with residency, I don't think the fallout would hit them too bad, unless they were actually doing academics.
Of course, not many people not doing academics are on here to answer it anyway.
I'll shoot. Anywhere that forces their residents to pay for food, parking, certification, and doesn't cover books. I wouldn't go there. I also wouldn't go to a DO residency because they wouldn't let me in anyway, but that's a different point.
