Male, caucasian, 5'9", 160lbs (180lbs when he finishes program0, brown hair (significantly thinner at graduation), brown eyes, no birthmarks but a few nervous tics. No prior arrests. Unarmed, but still considered dangerous(ly deluded).

-An overachiever who suffers from the delusion that a combination degree is somehow better than just an MD.

-Someone who suffers from the delusion that they will be a regular doctor four days a week and "do some research one day a week."

Of course, this really depends on the caliber of school you are applying to...

MCAT >33
GPA about 3.7
At least a year (consecutive months) of research experiance (not washing dishes, but actual research)
Can articulate their reasons for wanting to pursue academic medicine
Good letters of rec from a PI and science professors
Clincal/Volunteer experiance - although not as much as an MD only student
LOVES research
