any one care to tell us some good sites which list possible scholarships for MD students? Any "easy" scholarships, etc?

Scholarships for medical school are much more scarce than for undergraduate education. Your medical school financial aid office should be able to help you. The web resource for scholarships is www.fastweb.com but there are few scholarships for medical students. Most students pay for medical school expenses with loans.

I have just been accepted to medical school in Las Vegas and now I am trying to understand my options for money. I looked at the HPSP... I looked for scholarships... I looked in my wallet 🙁
Now I have come the conclusion that loans are how this is going to work. My school budgets $53345 for the year. This includes $15000 for living and personal expenses. After four years it comes to $213380

What do we do for money at intership? I paid off my undergrad loans, but still this loan is still going to put me near the max. I also know that this loan will build interest in the range of $30000 while in school.

Is this normal?

There are no federal grants for medical school. There may be some private scholarships available. There are programs to pay for medical school if you are willing to work in underserved areas or work in the military. Look into the National Health Scholarship Program or the military.

If you really want to go to medical school the first step is to apply and get accepted....then figure out how to pay for it.
