Need Guidance,

Is there advance placement for Foreign Medical Graduate with MD degree (has not started REsidency), ECFMG certified (passed USMLE step 1, step 2cs, Step 2ck)....presently studying for step 3

Getting into residency has become ultra competitive......was wondering if any DDS programs accept MD graduates to advance placement? Since in past was thinking about MD or DDS route.....

I have no clue, but the people on the International Dentists forum seem to know a lot about this, so you might want to try there as well...I think people on this forum don't have information on such cases...

Advanced placement is offered for graduates of international dental schools. If you look at at ds curricula you will find that, starting with first semester, there are a number of courses that as a physician you are not likely to have encountered. The best that you can hope is that you may be allowed to test out of a course(s), although, without special dispensation, those are usually limited. Your biggest handicap, however, is that your interest in dentistry appears to be misguided.
