MD verse settling for the DO

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
B/c they can't make it into MD schools lol....

SO are you trying to say that all MD students are beat? I think that is an unfair generalization of MD students. Do you mean that a patient might judge me because of my striking good looks, and thus assume I am a lowly DO and not want to see me because of this? I heard all patients always know the intricacies of med school demography. Im worried now :scared:

no, you're probably right , they probably couldn't make it into MD schools because they probably chose other things over studying in undergrad, however this doesn't mean they won't be as good as doctors as the MD.

I will most likely end up going to DO as well, simply because I got motivated too late, and if you ask me, i am perfectly fine with that.

Yeah bro, they are like "doctors assistants" sometimes they can see patients on their own (with a supervising physician) but that's only if they go to school for 50 more years.

you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. DOs are physicians with all the rights and privileges as MDs. The only difference is a focus on witchcraft and wizardry. Also unlike MDs we do not club baby seals.

The OP is banned...I suggest we close this yet-another-useless-MD-vs-DO thread?

I guess I should have inserted a subtext of sarcasm into my post so that people without common sense know when sarcasm is present.
