MD vs DO Salary?

I am just curious about whether DOs and MDs with the same credentials and specialties make about the same? I am asking this question because I have heard that some people tend to look down on DOs so I was wondering whether salary is one of the factors.

$$ is identical for the same job in the same specialty, absolutely regardless of degree. The people who may look down on them do so out of pure ignorance

It's understandable that some premeds might think that DOs make less money, but DOs make just as much money. And they pay just as much malpractice.
