Hello all,

I had an interview at this particular school a couple weeks ago, and received an invite for a second interview. I do know that my first interview was closed file, so the possibility that this one is open is quite high. Beyond that what are some general thoughts on the situation ?

I've never heard of this happening so I would call them to make sure they made no mistake.

never heard of second interview for the same school same cycle. call them and ask. please update us too 🙂

I remember this from last cycle: Second interview at Tufts or stick with BU?
This should help everyone!

Interesting. I can see that the posting's Tufts' second invite was post Dec 1 which was after the first round of decisions are made. Maybe they are trying to see who is REALLY committed to Tufts to come the second time whom will indeed likely enroll to Tufts if given acceptance? Since there are people who get multiple acceptance who might not pick Tufts if they were asked to come another visit (which might be time consuming and expensive). Great tactic to avoid prolonged dropped spots.

if this were the case, there wouldn't be only one or two examples of this happening, it would be all over the tufts thread every year
