Med and Peds subinternships

Im a third year going into Med/Peds (hopefully) and im looking for advice on choosing a sub-I for either med or peds. if you have any advice on how to choose one, when to do one, where to go, one that youve done and liked or hated.

mostly im interested in southern cali and the northeast but im open to all help.
