I've heard from others that since I'm doing med/peds (as opposed to say, radiology) that I will do better on the test after taking a lot of clinical blocks as an intern. Do others agree with that?
I was thinking about taking a 3 week block of vacation time to study for Step 3, sometime in April or May. I'm in the process of submitting my vacation scheduling preferences right now.
If god forbid, I fail Step 3 in april, will I have enough time to retake it before the PGY-2 year starts? Or should I schedule it sooner?
