Hi everyone,
I'm an undergraduate student in Canada, trying to apply to med school maybe in 2010. I finished 2 yrs of med school in Europe, then I transfered to Canada and now I'm 3rd year in Kinesiology. I have to transfer again to US, 'cause my husband will start his residency there, so i have to take some courses part-time, before applying to another University (to finish my Bachelor degree). Does it look very bad on a CV that I did some classes here and there, and that I have to take some part-time classes to raise my GPA? Would grad school maybe help?

Thank you

First thing you need to do is finish your undergraduate degree.

It doesnt matter too much that you have moved around. Provided your GPA is good your will not have to do any graduate school.

For US allopathic schools, the key is an undergrad GPA / BCMP of 3.5 + & an MCAT of 30 +. Can you get in with lower number's yes but it is difficult. Since you are still an undergrad that is what I would shoot for as best you can. Pick a major that you seem to do well in since the major's difficulty doesn't seem to have much pull in getting in either. Grad classes do not count the same as undergrad and many schools don't weigh them with as much weight. Sorry I still can't figure that one out myself but them seem to be the rules in admission. It never really made sense to me but I am just a lowly grunt.

Good Luck!
