Please give me some feedback on what you think about my current grades. What are my chances to get into medical school? Like I said, I will be taking the MCAT in April of 2015 and applying to all my schools in June. I want to apply right when schools start accepting applications for enrollment for the fall of 2016. Take a look at my school list and tell me what you think. Do you think I will be competitive. (I project myself to have a final GPA of about 3.7 - 3.75 by the time I apply.) Illinois residents by the way.

Your grades are pretty good and will be above average for matriculants. Do well on the MCAT and you'll not have much to worry about.

How are your ECs? Shadowing? Volunteering? Clinical experience? Make sure that's up to snuff. Focus on how to make your app as good as possible, and worry about the school list later after your MCAT scores come back.

It's incredibly hard for anyone to gauge your chances without an mcat. (Which is why I'm not even making a school list until I take mine!)

Also, with a WAMC post, ECs are also important to list, as they're very important for an application.

And, if you glance over an MSAR, you'll be presented with a ton of data regarding school admissions. (Are you URM? If not, cut Howard.). A couple schools you listed aren't very OOS friendly either.

Looks like you have good grades. Keep at it and I think you will do well.

BUT... get rid of Harvard, Stanford, Mayo, UCSD - unless you have something truly remarkable/noteworthy in terms of ECs, life-story, service, etc.
