They expect 33000 applications for 16000 spots. If I'm not mistaken that translates to an almost 50% acceptance rate!! WoW!

actually there are about 16,500 spots but med schools actually accept about 17,500 applications.

so that means better than 50% of applicants will have an acceptance!!!!!!! 😱
